IN FY16, CONSTELLATION HAD A 22% INCREASE IN OVERALL AUDIENCE SIZE, AND 475 SUBSCRIBERS, REPRESENTING A 10% INCREASE IN SUBSCRIPTIONS. CONSTELLATION SERVED 8,943 PATRONS AT 87 PERFORMANCES, INCLUDING 1,990 PATRONS WHO ATTENDED PERFORMANCES AT A DISCOUNTED RATE.CONSTELLATION RECEIVED ITS FIRST GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS FOR ITS PRODUCTION OF JOURNEY TO THE WEST WHICH FEATURED THE MOST DIVERSE CAST IN ITS HISTORY, INVOLVING 10 PERFORMERS OF COLOR.IN FY16, IT INCREASED ITS BUDGET FOR ARTISTIC COMPENSATION BY 32%. IN ADDITION, WE WERE NAMED BEST SMALL PROFESSIONAL THEATRE COMPANY BY THE WASHINGTON POST.    
In the 2014/15 season, Constellation entertained 423 subscribers and sold 6,852 tickets to diverse audiences. Moreover, Constellation is proud to report that the February 2015 production of Lieutenant of Inishmore sold at 98% capacity and was the highest grossing show in the theatres history. Critical and audience acclaim for Constellations 2014/15 productions was notable and consistent. Program description  In the 2014/15 season, Constellation entertained 423 subscribers and sold 6,852 tickets to diverse audiences. Moreover, Constellation is proud to report that the February 2015 production of Lieutenant of Inishmore sold at 98% capacity and was the highest grossing show in the theatres history. Critical and audience acclaim for Constellations 2014/15 productions was notable and consistent.
