HOPE FUNDS - EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE PROGRAMUNDERSTANDABLY, A FAMILY CAN FEEL INCREDIBLY VULNERABLE AND ALONE WHEN THEIR PET IS CRITICALLY INJURED OR SICK-ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE'S NOT ENOUGH MONEY TO COVER THE BILL. WE OFFER HELP IN PROVIDING THE URGENT CARE THEIR PET NEEDS BY OFFSETTING UNEXPECTED COSTS TO HELP FAMILIES AND THE PETS THEY LOVE. BCT WELLNESS PLANS - PREVENTATIVE VETERINARY CARE PROGRAMIF THERE'S ONE THING OUR EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN US IS THAT PREVENTIVE HEALTHCARE CAN KEEP PETS HEALTHY AND WITH THE FAMILIES THEY LOVE. UNFORTUNATELY, PREVENTIVE CARE CAN BE FINANCIALLY OUT OF REACH FOR MANY LOVING FAMILIES. EACH YEAR, WE FUND THOUSANDS OF WELLNESS PLANS, WHICH INCLUDE VETERINARY EXAMS AND PREVENTIVE CARE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES - ALL TO HELP KEEP PETS AND FAMILIES TOGETHER.SEASON OF SUPPERS GRANTSFOR STRUGGLING PET OWNERS, PROVIDING PET FOOD CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING ABLE TO KEEP A CHERISHED PET AND BEING FORCED TO SURRENDER HIM OR HER. WE ROUTINELY HEAR FROM PET OWNERS LIVING ON A FIXED INCOME THAT THEY ARE SHARING THEIR LIMITED HUMAN FOOD SUPPLY WITH THEIR PET WHICH MEANS BOTH HUMAN AND PET ARE FACING HUNGER AND LACK OF PROPER NUTRITION. BANFIELD CHARITABLE TRUST WORKS TO FEED TO HUNGRY PETS IN TWO WAYS: FUNDING PET FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMS ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR HOMEBOUND SENIORS THROUGH MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZING SEASONS OF SUPPERS, AN ANNUAL PET FOOD DRIVE AND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A NETWORK OF 800 BANFIELD PET HOSPITALS EVERY NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER. SINCE 2005, WE HAVE COLLECTED AND DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 85 TONS OF PET FOOD AND AWARDED MORE THAN A HALF MILLION DOLLARS IN PET FOOD GRANTS THANKS TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS, CORPORATE SPONSORS, AND VOLUNTEERS.PET ADVOCACY GRANTSBANFIELD CHARITABLE TRUST PROVIDES GRANTS TO PET-RELATED ORGANIZATIONS FOR PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESS THE ROOT CAUSES OF THE SURRENDER OF PETS, PROMOTE THE BOND BETWEEN PETS AND THEIR OWNERS, AND WORK TO KEEP PETS IN THEIR LOVING HOMES. WE ARE COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING PROGRAMS THAT PREVENT THE CRISIS OF SURRENDER AND WORK TO KEEP PETS WITH THEIR FAMILIES. PET PEACE OF MIND PROGRAMBANFIELD CHARITABLE TRUST IS WORKING TO CHANGE THE WAY HOSPICES CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS AND BUILDING A MOVEMENT WITHIN THE HOSPICE COMMUNITY THAT RECOGNIZES THE PET AS AN IMPORTANT MEMBER OF THE PATIENT'S FAMILY. PET PEACE OF MIND (PPOM) IS A NATIONAL PROGRAM DESIGNED TO HELP NONPROFIT HOSPICES KEEP PATIENTS AND THEIR PETS TOGETHER DURING THE END-OF-LIFE JOURNEY. PPOM OFFERS HOSPICES A PROGRAM MODEL AND FUNDING TO DELIVER IN-HOME VOLUNTEER PET CARE SERVICES FOR PATIENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO MAINTAIN ROUTINE HEALTH CARE AND NUTRITION FOR THEIR PETS BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL AND/OR PHYSICAL DISABILITY. SUPPORT FOR THE PROGRAM ALSO HELPS HOSPICES FIND ADOPTIVE HOMES FOR PETS, GIVING PATIENTS PEACE OF MIND THAT THEIR PETS WILL ALWAYS HAVE LOVING HOMES.CAMPBELL FAMILY SCHOLARSHIPSTHE CAMPBELL FAMILY SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM HELPS COVER THE COST OF TUITION FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS PURSUING PET-RELATED CAREERS. THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT STUDENTS' ACADEMIC WORK IN A VARIETY OF AREAS INCLUDING PRE-VETERINARY SCIENCES, VETERINARY TECHNOLOGY AND OTHER ACADEMIC FIELDS THAT WILL LEAD THEM TO PET-FOCUSED CAREERS.
