BECAUSE OF THIS, CCF HAS DEVELOPED A STRONG, ON-GOING VETERANS' INITIATIVE THAT ADDRESSES THESE NEEDS. THROUGH FOUR UNIQUE PROGRAMS, THE FOUNDATION ASSISTS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS IN ADDRESSING EVER-CHANGING HEALTH AND DISABILITY BENEFITS, LEGAL ASSISTANCE, JOB PLACEMENT, FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE, AND ADDRESSING PTSD AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE. CCF ALSO MANAGES A FUND FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE PLYMOUTH COMMUNITY VETERANS' MEMORIAL PARK AND PROVIDES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS' GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY FOR THEIR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING. CCF RECEIVED 8,040 IN DONATED GOODS AND SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PROGRAM.THE CANTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION RECOGNIZES THE SACRIFICE OF OUR MILITARY VETERANS AND THE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES THAT ARE UNIQUE TO THIS GROUP UPON RETURNING TO CIVILIAN LIFE. BECAUSE OF THIS, CCF HAS DEVELOPED A STRONG, ON-GOING VETERANS' INITIATIVE THAT ADDRESSES THESE NEEDS. THROUGH FOUR UNIQUE PROGRAMS, THE FOUNDATION ASSISTS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS IN ADDRESSING EVER-CHANGING HEALTH AND DISABILITY BENEFITS, LEGAL ASSISTANCE, JOB PLACEMENT, FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE, AND ADDRESSING PTSD AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE.
