THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS PUBLIC PROGRAMS AND EXHIBITS FOR THE EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM. EXAMPLES INCLUDE: 1) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM, WE CONTINUE TO FOCUS ON RAISING MONEY FOR A COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT RENOVATION, AND IT WILL BE THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 45 YEARS THAT ALL GALLERIES WILL HAVE A COHESIVE DESIGN AND STORYLINE. THIS PROJECT IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PHASES. PHASE I, THE PLANNING PHASE, WAS MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH A GRANT FROM A PRIVATE DONOR AND WAS COMPLETED BETWEEN MAY 2014 TO APRIL 2015. PHASE II, THE DESIGN PHASE, BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2016 AND WILL BE COMPLETED IN APRIL 2018. THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE, WHEN THE NEW EXHIBITS ARE INSTALLED, IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN MAY 2018 AND COMPLETED IN APRIL 2019. THE GRAND REOPENING CEREMONIES ARE SCHEDULED TO COINCIDE WITH THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY, JUNE 6, 2019. 2) WORLD WAR II REMEMBERED: LEADERS, BATTLES AND HEROES IS A MULTI-YEAR, MULTI-FACETED PROJECT THAT COMMEMORATES THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY. IT INCLUDES A MAJOR EXHIBIT AT THE EISENHOWER MUSEUM, WITH ROTATING EXHIBITS THROUGH THE THREE-YEAR PROJECT WHICH CONCLUDED IN 2016. 3) THE EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM AND THE HARRY S. TRUMAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM PARTNERED TO PRESENT TWO PUBLIC PROGRAMS COMMEMORATING CONSTITUTION DAY. EXAMPLES INCLUDE: 1) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM, WE CONTINUE TO FOCUS ON RAISING MONEY FOR A COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT RENOVATION, AND IT WILL BE THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 45 YEARS THAT ALL GALLERIES WILL HAVE A COHESIVE DESIGN AND STORYLINE. THIS PROJECT IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PHASES. PHASE I, THE PLANNING PHASE, WAS MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH A GRANT FROM A PRIVATE DONOR AND WAS COMPLETED BETWEEN MAY 2014 TO APRIL 2015. PHASE II, THE DESIGN PHASE, BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2016 AND WILL BE COMPLETED IN APRIL 2018. THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE, WHEN THE NEW EXHIBITS ARE INSTALLED, IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN MAY 2018 AND COMPLETED IN APRIL 2019. THE GRAND REOPENING CEREMONIES ARE SCHEDULED TO COINCIDE WITH THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY, JUNE 6, 2019. 2) WORLD WAR II REMEMBERED: LEADERS, BATTLES AND HEROES IS A MULTI-YEAR, MULTI-FACETED PROJECT THAT COMMEMORATES THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY.
