IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM, THE FOUNDATION HAS COMMITTED TO A COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT RENOVATION PROJECT. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 45 YEARS THAT ALL GALLERIES WILL HAVE A COHESIVE DESIGN AND STORYLINE. THIS PROJECT IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PHASES.PHASE I - THE PLANNING PHASE. THIS WAS MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH A GRANT FROM A PRIVATE DONOR AND WAS COMPLETED BETWEEN MAY 2014 TO APRIL 2015.PHASE II - THE DESIGN PHASE. THIS PHASE BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2016 AS THE FOUNDATION ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRD GROUP LLC FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES. THE LUMP CONTRACT SUM IS $1,625,000 WITH REIMBURSEMENT OF DIRECT EXPENSES UP TO $50,000. ALL SERVICES RELATED TO THIS PROJECT ARE TO BE COMPLETED BY MAY 31, 2019. AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2017, $736,916 HAD BEEN SPENT AND THERE REMAINED $938,084 OF REMAINING PROJECT COMMITMENT COSTS.PHASE III - THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE. THIS PHASE IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN IN MAY 2018 AND COMPLETE IN APRIL 2019. THE GRANT REOPENING CEREMONIES ARE SCHEDULED TO COINCIDE WITH THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY, JUNE 6, 2019.

Program descriptionIN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM, THE FOUNDATION HAS COMMITTED TO A COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT RENOVATION PROJECT. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 45 YEARS THAT ALL GALLERIES WILL HAVE A COHESIVE DESIGN AND STORYLINE. THIS PROJECT IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PHASES.PHASE I - THE PLANNING PHASE. THIS WAS MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH A GRANT FROM A PRIVATE DONOR AND WAS COMPLETED BETWEEN MAY 2014 TO APRIL 2015.PHASE II - THE DESIGN PHASE. THIS PHASE BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2016 AS THE FOUNDATION ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRD GROUP LLC FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES. THE LUMP CONTRACT SUM IS $1,625,000 WITH REIMBURSEMENT OF DIRECT EXPENSES UP TO $50,000. ALL SERVICES RELATED TO THIS PROJECT ARE TO BE COMPLETED BY MAY 31, 2019. AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2017, $736,916 HAD BEEN SPENT AND THERE REMAINED $938,084 OF REMAINING PROJECT COMMITMENT COSTS.PHASE III - THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE. THIS PHASE IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN IN MAY 2018 AND COMPLETE IN APRIL 2019. THE GRANT REOPENING CEREMONIES ARE SCHEDULED TO COINCIDE WITH THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY, JUNE 6, 2019.
