Mission or significant activitiesMARIPOSA CHILD SUCCESS PROGRAMS TRAINS ADULTS IN A RESEARCH-BASED, CLINICALLY PROVEN APPROACH TO CREATING STRONGER, MORE EFFECTIVE ADULT-CHILD RELATIONSHIPS THAT RESULT IN IMPROVED ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND REDUCTION IN DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR. ONE VERSION OF THE PROGRAM IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR WORKING WITH EDUCATORS AND ANOTHER FOR WORKING WITH PARENTS. THERE ARE ALSO SPECIFIC VERSIONS FOR WORKING WITH CHILDCARE WORKERS AND FOSTER/ADOPTIVE PARENTS. MARIPOSA ALSO PROVIDES ONE-ON-ONE COACHING FOR BOTH EDUCATORS AND PARENTS, AS WELL AS CONSULTATION ON ISSUES INVOLVING SPECIFIC CHILDREN.
