EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2016, WITH A PROGRAM BUDGET OF $100,000 FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2016 PROGRAM CONTRACT PERIOD. THE REVOLVING LOAN PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY RATE-PAYING UTILITY CUSTOMERS IN WISCONSIN. THE PROGRAM WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT FINANCING OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (INCLUDING AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS, GOVERNMENTAL UNITS, SCHOOLS, AND UNIVERSITIES).
