THE Y'S MISSION IS TO PUT CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND, AND BODY FOR ALL. EVERY YEAR, THE YMCA HELPS MORE THAN 50,000 YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PROGRAMS SUCH AS BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE, DAY AND RESIDENT CAMPING, CATCH CAMP FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS, SPORTS, TEENS, AND SWIMMING, BY OFFERING A RANGE OF EXPERIENCES THAT BROADEN COGNITIVE, SOCIAL, PHYSICAL, AND EMOTIONAL GROWTH. EXPENSES INCLUDE SUBSIDIES AND DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THAT SUPPORT 3 OUT OF EVERY 10 YOUTH. FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS OF THE IMPACT OF THESE PROGRAMS, SEE SCHEDULE O.
