Africa programme In DR Congo Child Soldiers International is developing and promoting best practice guidelines for the reintegration of former girl soldiers Additionally we are delivering pilot programmes to provide education for over 200 former girl soldiers in eastern DR Congo. Child Soldiers International's programme in central African Republic is designed to prevent the recruitment of children by armed forces, and to support best practice processes of reintegration for the children who have been demobilized.

Program description Africa programme In DR Congo Child Soldiers International is developing and promoting best practice guidelines for the reintegration of former girl soldiers Additionally we are delivering pilot programmes to provide education for over 200 former girl soldiers in eastern DR Congo. Child Soldiers International's programme in central African Republic is designed to prevent the recruitment of children by armed forces, and to support best practice processes of reintegration for the children who have been demobilized.  
Asia programme In Myanmar, Child Soldiers International assessed interventions underway to prevent child recruitment by non-state groups. We delivered recommendations to Burmese government officials on policy measures needed to prevent the recruitment of children into the national army. In India Child Soldiers International assessed the use of children by Maoist groups operating in Jharkhand state, and provided recommendations on measures to prevent the recruitment of children to government officials and other child protection actors.
